Apple Pie Toast Crunch™ Crisp

Because the only thing better than an Apple Crisp, is an Apple Pie Toast Crunch Crisp.
Ingredient List
Apple Crisp
- 6 apples (peeled, cored, chopped)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
- 1/2 cup Apple Pie Toast Crunch Cereal
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup oats
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (cold, cubbed)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8x8 pan with non-stick spray.
- Add all filling ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Make sure to evenly coat apples and pour into a pan.
- In a separate bowl for the topping, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Add cubed butter and press firmly with pastry cutter or fork to combine ingredients evenly.
- Fold in oats and Apple Pie Toast Crunch cereal.
- Pour topping over pan with the filling and spread out evenly.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
